The grim and frustrating stock market has many investors looking beyond stocks, bonds and mutual funds for their retirement funds. A growing number of investors have discovered they can use the money in their IRAs to buy real estate. Both commercial and residential real estate can be purchased for investment with a self-directed IRA.
